The Word of Jesus Christ

“Let the word of Christ Jesus richly dwell in you” – Colossians 3:16

bible20with20coffee3333333

How can His word richly dwell in us?

1.Firstly we must be willing, clean & empty on the inside to receive his word and precepts on life. An empty, open vessel he can surely fill but a vessel already full can never be filled.

Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work- 2 Timothy 2:20-21

And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins- Luke 5:37,38

This means that the word of man must no longer govern our thinking. Man’s opinions, judgements or comments must no longer effect us or change the course of our faith and joy.

2.Secondly we must never allow our minds and hearts to be controlled by our negative experiences from the past.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come – 2 Corinthians 5:17

This means that our very own opinion of ourselves mattes greatly. Never look down on yourself for you are indeed the created, restored work of God.

3.Thirdly let the opinion and mind of God govern you always. For in His eyes, you are blessed, redeemed, cleansed, sanctified, and powerful through His mighty Spirit that is always in work in you- Evg.Samuel Meesala

Followers of Jesus Christ

Those who delight in piety and are determined to live a devoted and godly life in Christ Jesus will meet with persecution & will be made to suffer because of their faithful stand. For If they persecuted Jesus, they will also persecute us. Remember no servant is greater than His master – 2 Timothy 3:12 ; John 15:20 AMP11138160_1095206223829473_5382763314725568822_n

The Blood of Jesus

I (Jesus) by no means will clear the guilty; I will visit the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. Therefore come, let us settle this matter of sin (missing the mark set by God), iniquity ( intentionally disobeying God even after possessing the knowledge of truth & evil) & transgression ( continually sinning without repentance or fear of the Lord) says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. For I have shed my blood for the forgiveness of your many sins, transgressions & iniquities. Exodus 34:6-7, Isaiah 1:18, Mathew 26:28,

Whoever attacks them does it without my consent; whoever fights against you will fall. For no weapon will be able to hurt you. I (Jesus) will defend my servants and my people. I will give them victory – Isaiah 54:14-17 GNB

The Anointing – Evg. Samuel Meesala

the_anointing_background

What does the Word Anoint mean?

The word “Anoint” means to smear or rub with oil, to fill or impart with power to bring about a completion of a specific task or to concentrate something or someone for special service.

God is very cautious when He appoints His Chosen leaders. He promptly trains and teaches them His ways before he summons them for service. These chosen and anointed vessels of God represent the heart and mind of Christ at all times to this fallen world.

How can we represent the heart and mind of Christ at all times?

Firstly we must understand that the Holy Ghost was given to us freely for a reason. God’s indwelling Spirit was designed to abide in us and speak through us the truths and ways of His kingdom. Matthew 10:20 declares

For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.”

Luke 12:12 also declares

“For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.”

If we truly surrender our beings – our will, our plans, and our emotions to him, His Spirit is able to speak and work through us freely. Unfortunately many wrestle with the plans and purposes of God. They are unwilling to adhere to his thoughts because they are in love with their own. Genesis 6:3 declares

Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not strive with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”

John 3:19 “Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil”

God passionately searches  today for vessels that are willing to follow, obey and surrender. He strongly despises those that strive with His Spirit but vessels humbled before him, He will use and anoint. Throughout the old & New testaments, this principle of Anointing or being Anointed were apparent. All of the giants of faith like Moses, Joshua and king David were Anointed greatly by the Spirit of God. This Anointing enabled them to do great and marvelous things for God Almighty. Zechariah 4:6 declares

Then he said to me, “This is what the LORD says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies

The Church today desperately yearns for this Anointing and for the Anointed ones to hear the true heart and mind of Christ. The worldly church today focuses so much on educational degrees to represent Christ. Although I’m  not a person that is against such education, a  degree that is devoid of His Anointing is mere emptiness. Many leaders have sadly departed from the ways and mind of Christ and are operating at a human intellect level, spewing out strange doctrines and practices that does not belong to the heart of God. Jeremiah 4:22 declares

For my people are foolish, they have not known me or my ways ; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

So what is the purpose of His Anointing?

The scripture declares in Luke 4:18

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free”

Notice that the Anointing has a vision and a set direction – To proclaim good news to the poor ( the lost) to proclaim freedom for the prisoners (those in sin and under the bondage of Satanic lies and trickery) and sight to the blind (those who are deceived in false truths or doctrines) Therefore every child or servant of Christ that receives the Anointing of the Holy Ghost, receives also its divine vision, purpose & set direction. The vision and purpose birthed by our flesh eventually fades away and at some point totally dies within us. We are captured by a completely new vision imparted by the Anointing . This becomes our prime vision and goal. Paul was able to perceive this hidden truth and experience it in his life, hence he made the bold statement found in Galatians 2:20

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me”

May we all receive His precious Anointing today and truly be the Anointed men and women for God. May we all learn to  represent His heart and mind in this fallen world -Evg Samuel Meesala

The voice of the Lord comforts me; His hand preserves me. He hides me from my plotting enemies & from evil crowding near. Though they aim at me with treacherous words; God will smite, for He is near – Evg. Samuel Meesala

The Nation of God

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

John 15: 19

Throughout the scriptures we find that God moves mightily in the lives of people who are modest, deserted and have no proper standing with this world. This nature or attribute of God’s work often portray to us his vast mercies and endless compassions for his people. In the following books of the written word, we find God chose a peculiar nation called Israel as His own special people to reveal Himself and work wonders among them for His glory. This choice was based solely on his love for the nation and its forefathers. The following Scriptures support my statement.

Job 1:10

Compassion

It was a bitter, cold evening in northern Virginia many years ago. The old man’s beard was glazed by winter’s frost while he waited for a ride across the river. The wait seemed endless. His body became numb and stiff from the frigid north wind.

He heard the faint, steady rhythm of approaching hooves galloping along the frozen path. Anxiously, he watched as several horsemen rounded the bend. He let the first one pass by without an effort to get his attention. Then another passed by, and another. Finally, the last rider neared the spot where the old man sat like a snow statue.

As this one drew near, the old man caught the rider’s eye and said, “Sir, would you mind giving an old man a ride to the other side? There doesn’t appear to be a passageway by foot.”

Reining his horse, the rider replied, “Sure thing. Hop aboard.”

Seeing the old man was unable to lift his half-frozen body from the ground, the horseman dismounted and helped the old man onto the horse.
