Beliefs

WHAT WE BELIEVE

1) The One True God:

We believe that the Holy Scriptures teach that there is only one true and living God, eternal and unchanging, who has chosen to reveal Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is perfect in all His ways—Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all things. Scripture References: Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10–11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22.

2) A Personal Relationship With Jesus Christ:

We believe that every believer is called to have a personal, intimate, and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ, for apart from Him we can do nothing. He is our life, strength, and source of all spiritual fruitfulness. In His presence we find fellowship, guidance, and the assurance that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Scripture References: John 15:1–5; Hebrews 13:5–6.

3) Every Believer Has God-Given Ministry:

We believe that every believer has a unique ministry and calling from God—a purpose that no one else can fulfill. As members of the Body of Christ, we are instructed to teach, exhort, encourage, and admonish one another in the ways of the Lord, helping each believer grow into spiritual maturity and fulfill their divine purpose. Scripture References: Colossians 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 5:14; Colossians 1:28.

4) Water Baptism By Immersion:

We believe in water baptism by total immersion, as taught in Scripture. This act signifies that the believer has died with Christ and has been raised with Him into a brand-new life—a life lived for God and no longer under the rule of the unregenerated self or sinful nature. Baptism is an outward testimony of an inward transformation and a public declaration of one’s union with Christ. Scripture References: Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:11–12.

5) The Authority Of The Holy Scriptures:

We believe the Bible in its entirety—the inspired, God-breathed Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct. Scripture is eternal, unchanging, and fully sufficient for teaching, correction, instruction, and equipping believers for every good work. Scripture References: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:89.

6) The Lord Jesus Christ:

We believe that Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life as the perfect Lamb of God. He was crucified, died, and was buried; on the third day He rose again in power and glory. He ascended into Heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, reigning in majesty and authority. We affirm that Jesus Christ alone is the only true God, worthy of all worship, honor, and praise. Scripture References: Matthew 1:20–24; Matthew 2:1; Ephesians 1:20–23.

7) The Holy Spirit God And His Baptism:

We believe that every believer receives the indwelling Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation. We further believe that believers should earnestly desire and seek the baptism (fullness) of the Holy Spirit, which empowers the Christian life and is accompanied by the manifestations of the gifts and the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Through His presence, power, and workings, the Holy Spirit equips the Church to fulfill the will of God on the earth. Scripture References: Matthew 3:11; Acts 10:47–48; Acts 4:31; Acts 2:1–47; 1 Corinthians 12:1–11; Galatians 5:22.

8) A Life Of Faith And Obedience:

We believe that a Christian is in right standing with God through faith in Jesus Christ, and that this faith produces visible, Spirit-empowered fruit in every area of life—personal, family, and church. Genuine faith is evidenced by the actions and character that flow from the indwelling Holy Spirit. Those who truly love the Lord will keep and obey His Word, and doing so is not burdensome but a joyful expression of their love for Him. Scripture References: Matthew 7:16–20; Romans 3:22; Galatians 2:16.

9) The Ministry And Work Of The Holy Spirit God:

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, to convict the world of sin, to regenerate those who believe, and to indwell, baptize, guide, and empower every believer for godly living and faithful service. Scripture References: John 16:8–14; Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Romans 8:9–14; Acts 1:8.

10) The Threefold Witness In The Life Of A Believer:

We believe that every believer must personally be aligned with the Blood of Jesus, the Word of Jesus, and the Spirit of Jesus—for these three bear witness and affirm the believer’s standing in Christ before the Father on the great day of judgment. Scripture References: 1 John 5:8, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 9:14. Revelation 12:1, John 17:17, Hebrews 4:12, James 1:21. Romans 8:16, John 14:26, Ephesians 1:13-14.

11) Tithes, Offerings And Compassionate Giving:

We believe in tithing and bringing offerings into the local assembly (Church or ministry) where believers are nourished with the true, anointed Word of God—Heavenly Manna—through diligent guidance and spiritual care provided by the anointed shepherd of that assembly. We also believe in giving alms and showing Christlike compassion by caring for the poor, the sick, the homeless, and all who are in need. Scripture References: Malachi 3:10–11; Luke 6:38; James 1:27.

12) The Unity And Equality Of All Believers In Jesus Christ:

We believe that all humanity is one race before God and before one another. In Christ, there is no discrimination based on age, sex, or color—for Christ Himself is our focus, and He dwells in all believers and can use anyone who is willing and obedient. Scripture References: Colossians 3:11. Galatians 3:28, Romans 2:11, Acts 17:26, Genesis 1:27, 1 Samuel 16:7, Acts 2:17-18, Acts 10:34-35.

13) The Resurrection Of The Saved And Unsaved:

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved to everlasting life in the presence of God. We also believe in the resurrection of the unsaved to judgment and everlasting separation from God in the lake of Fire and Sulphur. Scripture References: John 5:28-29, Matthew 25:31-46; Acts 24:15 ; Revelation 22:1, Daniel 12:2

14) The Personal And Imminent Return of Jesus Christ:

We believe in the personal and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Scripture References: Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Acts 1:11, Revelation 1:7, Matthew 24:42-44, Titus 2:13, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, Matthew 25:31,
