Earthly suffering (sickness, injury, natural disaster, betrayal, financial loss, loneliness, persecution, poverty, hunger, and death) is not an eternal reality. For our momentary light affliction is producing in us an eternal weight of glory (beyond all measure and proportion) Therefore lets boast about the strength of Christ working in us during our afflictions. For such afflictions produces the much needed fruit of endurance (the power of bearing an unpleasant and difficult process or situation without giving way).
